CHESTNUT MUSHROOMS KNITTING PATTERN

Here is a knitted pair of cheeky chestnut mushrooms! I made each mushroom in one piece, so you don’t have any fiddly sewing to join the cap to the stalk.

I have been working on a box of different vegetables, and if you are new to making knitted toys these make an easy introduction to the craft as they don’t have lots of pieces to sew together. My knitted veggies are worked flat on straight knitting needles, but most pieces could easily be converted to knitting in the round if that is your preference.

PATTERN INFO:

  • The pattern is 2 pages and written in English only.
  • You will need to know how to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, and sew a seam.

YOU WILL ALSO NEED:

  • A pair of straight 2.75mm knitting needles (US 2)
  • DK yarn (double knitting or light worsted weight)
  • A few handfuls of toy filling
  • Toy safety eyes

Pattern for personal use only; not for resale
