Introducing my Chestnut Mushrooms knitting pattern. I made each mushroom in one piece, so you don’t have any fiddly sewing to join the cap to the stalk.

My knitted Vegetable Box are super toys to encourage little ones to eat veg and greens, or you can use them as decorative items in your home. My veggies are worked flat, but most pieces could easily be converted to knitting in the round if that is your preference.

PATTERN INFO:

• The mushroom is 6 cm tall.
• The pattern is 2 pages and written in English.
• You will also need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, and sew a seam.

MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED:

• A pair of straight 2.75 mm (US 2) single-pointed knitting needles
• Double knitting yarns (DK or light worsted weight)
• Toy safety eyes
• A few handfuls of toy filling
