This is a pattern for a cute, quick, and easy pokemon-- Abra.

He’s part of my expanding collection of chibi pokemon designs.

Using the recommended yarn and hook he will be about 3 1/2 to 4 inches tall, and consistent in size with my other pokemon amigurumi.

You’ll need a relatively small amount (not more than 40g) of a yellow yarn, a smaller amount (20g or less) of a brown yarn, a tiny amount of light yellow yarn, a 4mm crochet hook, some stuffing, a scrap of black yarn or embroidery thread, and a yarn needle.

Abra is a cute pokemon with interesting proportions and can be posed in a variety of ways. I chose to sew his ‘hands’ together in front of his body to match his pose in Pokemon Go, but you can put him in whatever arrangement you like! The trickiest part, in my opinion, is sewing the eyes lines juuuuuuust right. It’s really easy to mess it up and end up with a really awkward looking Abra. But even if it takes a few tries-- you can do it!

I hope you enjoy!
