CHRISTMAS CRACKER SOCKS
The Christmas Cracker socks were inspired by Sophie of Botanical Yarn’s Festive Collection. These fun socks can be knitted with or without mohair in the pattern section depending on your mood or who you are knitting them for! I’m also thinking of knitting a pair with the pattern section in mohair held double

Pattern Information
Sizes: 1 (Adult M, 64 sts)/ 2 (Adult L, 72 sts)
To fit approximately 8-inch (20 cm)/9-inch (22.5 cm) foot circumference.
Yarn: Botanical Yarn merino/nylon 4ply sock (75% SW Merino Wool/25% Nylon) 100g/400m (437yds) in the Sugar Plum (sample 1) and Fairy Lights (sample 2) colour ways.
For the pattern section on the leg, the main yarn is held double with Botanical Yarn mohair silk lace weight (72% kid mohair/28% silk) 20g/168m in the Burgundy (sample 1) and Lilac (sample 2) colour ways.
Needles: 2.5 mm / US 1.5 (or size needed to get gauge) plus needles one size smaller for the pattern section if needed. I used a 2.25 mm 9-inch circular needle.
Gauge: 8 sts & 12 rounds = 1 inch / 2.5 cm in stocking stitch
