This one-skein-wonder chunky, ribbed pony tail hat pattern works up fast and is fun! Use an elastic hair tie to work the center opening (hair tie not included in pattern download), which will build the hat as a cone shape, then slip stitch the beginning and ending together to form the hat.

Notes are included for adjusting the pattern for a larger or smaller desired hat. I love using wool yarns from our sheep, but you can experiment with a cozy yarn of your choice!
