This one-skein-wonder cozy pattern looks difficult but is actually easy to pick up with only a little crochet experience. The pattern also includes notes on how to expand or shrink the design as desired.

My notes call for 1 skein of 150-yard “bulky-chunky” wool yarn from our sheep (which you can order from our farm at www.northstarhomestead.com) or choose a bulky-chunky yarn of your choice. The pattern works best with smooth yarns, but you are welcome to experiment with whatever fiber is calling you! Here shown in the colorway “royal oak.”

Leave the pattern unstitched at the end for a scarf, slip-stitched together in a circle for a cowl, or give it one twist and then slip-stitch for an infinity scarf.
