This lovely draping wrap is a one-skein-wonder that works up quickly. Finished piece is 13 x 83 inches, but notes are included for adjusting the pattern to be wider or narrower, and making the piece longer or shorter is easy. This project would also make a nice prayer shawl.

The pattern is worked across the width, even though the texture looks like it was worked along the length. The stitches form into a series of wedge shapes that nest in between the stitch wedges from the previous row, creating a gentle scalloped edge.

I love working with our sock or fingering weight wool yarn, so it’s cozy, but you can also experiment with your favorite yarns. If you want to use a heavier weight yarn, increase the hook size to maintain the drape and airiness of the wrap. To learn more about our wool yarns, visit www.northstarhomestead.com.

Happy crocheting!
