Cisealú means layer or layering in Irish, and it was the inspiration for the stripes motif. The hat is worked from the bottom up, in 2x2 rib.

There are two options for fit and brim length. You can choose whether you want a folded or non folded brim. I’ve kept it simple for begginer knitters, although the kitchener stich at the end should still provide a bit of a challenge.
