One of my most favourite knits to make is to come up with a design for the “Colour Challenges” at our local county shows. This beanie was designed for the Aister ‘oo’ 2025 colour challenge for Cunningsburgh Show where we had to use a minimum of four out of six shades to make a hat, gloves or headband. I was delighted to get first place for my gloves and a second for this beanie!
I was determined to try and use all six of this years shades and I love how the orange - Grey Fish - gives a lovely pop of colour even though it looked out of place in the balls.
