Overview of design:
The motif in this design takes inspiration from a larger body of work exploring never-ending lines that weave in and out with reference and respect to one another. If you trace the line to its end, you find yourself back at its origin.

Continuity Tee is a sleeveless T-shirt worked bottom up in the round until the armholes are reached at which point the front and back are worked separately in the flat. Lower hem and shoulders are shaped with German short rows. Shoulders are slightly wider than the bust to cover the shoulders better, and the Tee has a shallow round neckline below which is the lace motif. The armholes have a knitted selvedge edge. The garment is slightly cropped with the lowest point of the hem sitting 15cm below the natural waist. It is designed to be worn with about 5-10 cm (2-4”) of ease. Model is 162cm and wears size 3 with 5 cm of ease.

This style of tee-shirt is great for those that wish to cover their shoulders without adding excess ease to the garment. The shaped hem means the garment will look great worn out or tucked in. Additional length can easily be added between the hem and armhole.
