The pattern is for a Crochet Stand Mixer cozy made to look like a bowl of Cookie Dough. I instruct on how to make the cozy to fit your personal mixer, or a friend’s by taking two simple measurements of your mixing bowl.

I enjoy using my stand mixer for all sorts of baking, but I hate to have to clean it after it’s been sitting out on the counter between uses. I designed this cozy to fit over the bowl and help keep the flying food debris, dust, pet hair, and other unsavory things out of the bowl between uses. You can also keep the mixing tools safe and hidden under the cozy to cut down on visual clutter in the kitchen.

There are two files available to download after your purchase. One is a one page abbreviated pattern for experienced crocheters and easy printing. The second file is a step by step picture tutorial of the project with added notes and no abbreviations.

Gauge isn’t very important, you just want your stitches sturdy and not loose and lacy. It will be made to measure and not made to row count.

If you use an acrylic yarn, hand washing the cozy will be perfectly fine.
You will need three colors at least. A light brown for the dough color, a dark brown for the chocolate chips, and a color for your bowl. I chose a speckled tweed yarn to mimic the Texas Ware plastic mixing bowls my grandmother used.

Thank you for checking out my pattern. Let me know if you have any questions. Have a lovely day!
