This is a beautiful shawl in a repeating pattern, beginning at the centre and worked outwards in rows, written using UK crochet terminology. A guide table in the pattern advises on stitch counts throughout the pattern. This pattern is suitable to intermediate crocheters.

Materials

3.5mm crochet hook
Fingering weight yarn (approx. 1400m). This pattern was designed in Scheepjes Whirl in Sea Breeze Tease and Whirlette in Blueberry.

Gauge and sizing

22 st and 12 rows of htr crochet per 10cm/4in
Final size 190cm wingspan, 98cm length, though this can easily be made shorter/longer according to taste.
