Core Cowl is a modern double-layer machine-knitted cowl with a clean silhouette and a bold textured fabric. Designed as a companion to the Core Hat, it also works beautifully as a standalone accessory that fits easily into any wardrobe.

The construction combines structure and comfort: an inner stockinette lining, a textured outer layer, and folded ribbed edges that create a neat, professional finish. A drawstring channel allows you to adjust the fit and adds a functional detail.

The cowl is knitted on a standard gauge double-bed knitting machine using a punchcard tuck pattern. The design is intentionally flexible - the outer fabric can be worked in two-colour tuck, single-colour tuck, jacquard, or other punchcard textures, making it easy to personalize the project.

The pattern focuses on clear construction and understanding the process, not just following instructions.
