You will need worsted or aran weight yarn in pink and white (~150 yds of the pink, and ~50 yds of white). I use Caron Simply Soft acrylic for dolls since I like the colors available and try to make them hypoallergenic, but you can use whatever yarn you’d like.

The gauge provided is a generic gauge for Caron Simply Soft and a 4mm hook, but gauge is not important to this work. It’s more important that you use a hook that gives you a firm, tight weave to ensure there aren’t gaps that expose the stuffing. If you use a different yarn, be sure to make test swatches to ensure you’re using an appropriate hook.
