The Cotton Candy sweater is knitted from the top down with a seamless yoke. You will start by knitting the neckband, and then the yoke. Once the yoke increases are complete, the sleeves are separated and put on hold while you knit the body. The sleeves are
knitted last on DPNS, short circulars, or the Magic Loop method. The entire sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch with an i-cord bind off on the body.

Sizes:
Child’s chest circumference: 16 (17) 19 (21) 23 (25) 26.5 (28)“ / 40.5 (43) 45.5 (53) 58.5 (63.5) 67 (71) cm

Yarn:
DK weight (3) yarn - I used a Sewrella Classic DK (100% superwash merino wool, 231 yards/100g). Any DK or light worsted yarn that meets gauge will be fine.

Yards/Meters: approx. 260 (290) 340 (380) 460 (560) 660 (730) yards / 230 (260) 300 (350) 420 (510) 590 (670) meters.
Keep in mind that if you add extra length to the body or sleeves, you will need more yarn than what is called for.

Needles:
US 6 (4.0mm) needles in 16-24” (40-61cm) circulars for the yoke and body, and DPNs, 9” (23cm) circulars, or Magic Loop for sleeves.
