These crocheted cleaning pads have been a huge hit! I’ve had so many requests for this pattern, and I finally got it all put together. The textured pattern makes them excellent at picking up the fine dirt and pet hair that brooms and regular pads miss, and the extra attention to detail in the edging gives them a nice, professional look.

These make great gifts for friends and co-workers, and they’re easy enough that you can make up a couple in an afternoon. Estimated time for a beginner is about an hour per pad; for a more experienced crocheter, this may only take 45 minutes. I love that the pattern is worked in one piece, which means minimal stitching and hiding loose ends!

This pattern has been tested, but I am still new to pattern writing. I have made every effort to be as thorough as possible, with photos included for each step. However, if you have a question or need clarification, please don’t hesitate to ask!

The pattern is written in English and uses US crochet terms and measurements. It includes 2 pages of instruction with color photos. It is designed to fit the regular Swiffer, but you may adjust some of the details in order for it to fit the xl or other brands.
