About
These wristwarmers are a basic staple for your cold weather wardrobe. They’re also a relatively fast knit and, since it’s a small project it’s easily portable so ideal for knitting out and about. And since it’s a fast knit, these mitts are ideal for seasonal gifting.

Construction
Knitted in the round on circular needles (or DPNs, if you prefer). A ribbed cuff is worked before switching to st-st and working a series of directional increases to make the thumb gusset. Stitches for the thumb are placed on hold to work later and the rest of the hand is knitted, ending with another ribbed cuff.

Yarn
This pattern uses King Cole Wildwood Chunky. Other yarns can be substituted as long as gauge matches.

Gauge
22 sts x 28 rows worked on 4.5mm (US 7) needles in st-st
