My mom announced that she needed a warm hat, mittens and scarf for the winter since she would be taking care of snow removal this year. I decided that I was going to make her a warm, squooshy, soft set. This cowl, along with the matching hat and mittens, was born.

It is about 6” tall and 26” wide, although it is easy enough to make smaller or larger. I wanted it to be long enough to wrap twice around the neck.

I’ve combined cables with a simple lace design to give some personality. This design is wonderful for those beautiful tonal skeins in your stash.
