Cuddly Hottie
Cuddly Hottie is a knit hot water-bottle cover. The cover fits a hot water-bottle measuring approximately 20 cm wide and 25 cm long. If your bottle is larger, see the tips in the pattern. The cover is knitted from the bottom up in stockinette stitch. It is cast on with Judy’s magic cast on. Alternatively, you can cast on with regular cast on and sew the bottom together at the end. A third option is to leave the bottom open so that you can attach buttons or ties for closure. The neck of the cover is quite narrow that it can be difficult to get the bottle into the cover when filled with water. If you want to fill the bottle without the cover on, you may want to consider knitting with an open bottom. As long as the bottle is empty, the cover can be taken off and on for washing.

The brown cover in the pictures is knitted in one thread Gepard Garn Teddy Dear in color 190 Coffee (exactly 50 g yarn used) + Gepard Garn Pura Lana in color 192 Dark Brown (exactly 40 g yarn used). The light cover in the picture below is knitted in one thread Gepard Garn Teddy Dear in color 104 Light Beige (59 g yarn used) + double thread drops Flora in color 01 Nature (40 g yarn used).

The pattern is written quite loosely, so you can easily adapt it along the way based on your own preferences and wishes for technique.
