  • 2020 Slow Yarn Crawl pattern from Knit-A-Bit!
  • How’s that? A yarn crawl? Yep - even if you can’t travel, or shops aren’t able to open yet, we’re on: the Slow Crawl is virtual this year, too! That actually means you can join in from anywhere!
  • Get a passport from this shop or other participating shops (they’re $10)
  • Starting May 22nd, visit all the shops - online, or safely in person once that’s an option
  • Each participating shop will give you the download codes for their pattern and a sticker or stamp for your passport (purchase required for virtual “visits”)
  • Fill up your passport, and be eligible for prizes!

A stitch pattern developed for a baby blanket was so popular that it was adapted for the cowl. the I-cord was added to give it a more finished look and to create a button hole.

Difficulty Level: adventurous beginner

Size: Approximately 23”x 8”

Yarn: Body: 1 skein, 100 g, 251 yds, Juniper Moon Cumulus Dappled
I-cord: 1 skein, 50 g, 82 yds, Mirasol Miski

Needle: approximate: US 10.5

Gauge: Gauge in pattern - approximate: 3.75 sts/inch
NOTE: The gauge is based on the number of stitches cast on. The fabric is very “fluid” so use a needle size that makes a cushy fabric. The sample used US10.5 rather than the recommended US8 for the yarn.

Notions: 11/2 inch button
