After creating the knit version of this scarf, the challenge was to replicate it using crochet stitches. The ruffled edge needed to undulate like the edges of the nudibranch I’d seen at an aquarium and on TV and the body needed to have a texture. I hope you enjoy making this scarf as much as I did creating it.

Difficulty Level: Beginner

Size: 44 ½ inches long and 6 ½ inches wide

Yarn: 2 skeins of Universal Classic Shades (100 g, 197 yds, 70% acrylic, 30% wool). Although Classic Shades is machine washable, we recommend hand washing. Model used, Sundown, color 706.

Hook: Size I crochet hook

Gauge: 6 pairs of sc+dc = approximately 4 inches
