  • crochet charts showing the entire pattern as a wedge that is repeated as many times as you want;
  • an easy read or mobile friendly version for both US terms and UK terms;
  • a separate file with A3 sized pages and large charts.

About the pattern

This is an intermediate crochet pattern for a crescent-shaped shawl featuring lacy petals reminiscent of a daisy in bloom.

The pattern is made up of repeating wedges of stitches, which can be increased in number for a fuller shawl that covers the front of the body more.

The meditative and intricate design shows off gradient yarns beautifully, but can also be worked in a single color.

The lace details make this a light an airy shawl, with great potential for blocking when using a yarn that can be blocked to open up the lace.

Skill level - Intermediate: you will use double crochet stitches, increases, chains and complex pattern repeats.

Notions

  • Yarn - between 1000-1200 meters of size 2 cotton or cotton blend yarn with 400 m per 100 g; you can use 1-1.5 gradient cakes or get a custom 1000-1200 m gradient cake;
  • Hook – 2.5 to 4 mm crochet hook or hook that gets you gauge;
  • Scissors and tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
  • Blocking pins and mats.
