This stripey hat is knitted sideways on straight needles.
The pattern is based on the Dalyance shawl.

The crown of the hat is formed of 6 square sections by picking up stitches at the end of each repeat.

The garter stitch border can be folded to the inside or outside, or left long to give a more slouchy hat.

The pattern uses 3 colours of mini skeins, but it would also be a good stash busting project

Before you start
Decide how you are going to finish.
Method 1: Cast on, cast off at the end, then stitch the two sides together.
Method 2: Make a provisional cast on, then at the end, make a three
needle bind off to join the sides.
