Every Spring in Rome there is a spectacular display of colour on the Spanish Steps with over 600 vases of an extremely rare variety of Azaleas. Capture that beauty with a cascading display of vibrant colour in this classically simple cowl with a touch of lace and fringe accents.

All the stitches are simple enough for an experienced beginner, the colour pooling does all the work for you and makes it stunning. This pattern will show you how to achieve the colour pooling and have you addicted to the beauty of watching the gorgeous colour as it pools through your hands.

You will use approx. 50 grams of each of the colours (166 to 205 yds.). Hang on to those leftovers…..there is a sister pattern called DaVinci Cowl IV Venice that will use up the remaining yarn.
