Description: The Day Trip Scarf is a great pattern for beginners. This pattern is knit flat and easy to get into the rhythm of while knitting so the rows just fly by! The pattern results in a sophisticated slip stitch motif for a timeless look. There are two options for scarf length. The Day Trip Scarf pattern is longer and will wrap around the next twice, while the Half-Day Trip Scarf (seen on cover page) pattern is shorter and will wrap around the neck once.

Yardage: 60 g (255m) for Day Trip
50 g (215 m) for Half-Day Trip

Needles: US6 (3.5 mm) circular or straight needles.

Approx. Gauge: 26 sts x 30 rows for 10 cm x 10 cm washed and blocked.

Sizes: one size fits most.

Dimensions:

Day Trip Scarf: length from tip to tip 112 cm, width 12 cm

Half-Day Trip Scarf: length from tip to tip 79 cm, width 11 cm
