Description: These socks are knit toe-up, in the round with a short row heel. The pattern is established in a 12 round repeat and can be knit as ankle socks or mid-calf.

Method: knitting

Skill Level: intermediate/advanced

Yarn: 100 g fingering weight sock yarn for MC and 20 g of each CC

Shortie socks were knit using 50 g of MC, 10 g of CC for wings, and 10 g of CC for cuff.

Mid-calf socks were knit using 70 g MC, 15 g CC for wings, and 20 g cc for toe and cuff accent.

Needles: US2 (2.75 mm) DPNS (or whatever needles are needed to achieve gauge)
