Daydream Bonnet
This bonnet is inspired by a 1960s vintage bonnet pattern and is knit up with 4ply yarn in 4mm needles. The main bonnet piece can be knit with straight needles and the double knit strap will require DPNs or Circular Needles. (I personally knit the whole project using circulars!)
The project uses a total of 35g of 4ply yarn. Unfortunately, as I use secondhand yarn that mostly comes without labels, I can’t provide exact yardage but it’s a great stash-busting project as it requires very little yarn due to the stripe pattern! I would recommend Cascade’s 220 Fingering yarn and also Drops Brushed Alpaca (it’s listed as aran weight but matches the gauge for this project)
