Dead Cold is a simple, stranded colorwork hat featuring a snowflake and a small skull motif — a little wintery, a little moody, and an approachable knit for anyone comfortable working with two colors in the round. The hat is worked from the brim up with 1×1 ribbing, followed by the colorwork section and a smooth, straightforward crown decrease. It’s a quick knit and works well in high-contrast worsted-weight yarn.
