Deep Ocean is a lightweight shawl designed to use up one skein of hand-dyed fingering weight yarn. The repeating stripes and zigzags are reminiscent of ocean waves, and give the finished shawl a cozy and comfortable drape. It also works up fairly quickly!

The repeating patterns make it easy to customize the size of your shawl! Just bind off when the shawl is as large as you’d like it to be or you run out of yarn.

Yarn- Brillante by Yoshi & Lucy (75% Merino, 20% Nylon, 5% Stellina) 468 yds/100g in color Breeze - Or substitute any fingering weight yarn
Needles- US 5 (3.75mm)
Other Notions- Tapestry needle, blocking pins

6 sts and 8 rows = 1 in
Gauge is not crucial for this shawl, but you may need to adjust the yardage needed to complete your project.
