Meet Dewey, your new squishy pond pal! With his big cheeks, soft little smile, and floppy arms and legs, Dewey is the perfect cuddly companion for frog lovers of all ages.

Abbreviations and Terms (US Crochet Terms)

• Magic Ring
• ch (chain)
• sl st (slip stitch)
• sc (single crochet)
• inc (increase stitch) -> 2sc in the same stitch
• dec (decrease stitch) -> combine 2 stitches together to make 1 stitch
• dc (double crochet)
• FLO (front loop only) -> work in the following stitch into the front loops only
• Join yarn -> attach yarn to the indicated stitch using a chain

Materials

• Medium (Gauge 4) yarn in 3 colors:
  • Green - main color
  • Yellow - second color
  • Black - for facial details
• 5.0 mm crochet hook
• 12 mm safety eyes and washers (2)
• Stuffing/Polyfill Stitch markers
• Sewing pins
• Scissors
• Large eye sewing needles

Final measurement for the finished frog will be ~7 inches (17.8 cm) tall laying down, and ~4.5 inches (11.4 cm) tall sitting down.

Feel free to use any yarn and hook size you like, just keep in mind your project size will vary depending on yarn and hook sizes!
