Meet the Forest Forager Frog, your new adventurous woodland companion! This detailed toy clothing pattern walks you through creating this outfit including:

• A cozy mushroom hat
• Textured shorts tied with a little string bow
• A forager’s basket/bag (perfect for imaginary mushroom gathering!)

Abbreviations and Terms (US Crochet Terms)

• MR - Magic Ring, the same as a Magic Circle
• ch (chain)
• slst (slip stitch)
• sc (single crochet)
• inc (increase stitch) - 2sc in the same stitch
• dec (decrease stitch) - combine 2 stitches together to make 1 stitch
• hdc (half double crochet)
• dc (double crochet)
• BLO (back loops only) - work in the following stitches into the back loops only
• Join yarn -> attach yarn to the indicated stitch using a chain

Materials

• Medium (gauge 4) yarn 3 colours - Stay within the same yarn gauge that you used to make Dewey the Frog
  • Colour A - Greyish Green
  • Colour B - Light Grey
  • Colour C - Brown
• 4.5mm hook - Use a smaller hook size than the one you used to make Dewey the Frog, I used a 5.0mm so I am using a hook one size down
• Stitch markers
• Scissors
• Large eye sewing needle
• Sewing pins

Feel free to use any yarn and hook size you like, just keep in mind your project size will vary depending on yarn and hook sizes!
