This sock was created as the second installment of my Titanic Sock Bundle. There will be 4 socks total in the batch. This yarn, made by Rebel Wool Works, is part of her Titanic collection. The color I used is called “Rose”.

The sock tells Rose DeWitt Bukater’s Story. The leg of the sock shows her going down the path her mother and fiancé Cal want her to follow - a windy path she is not sure about. Further down the sock, as she decends, Rose meets Jack Dawson which throws her for a loop and makes her start to rethink her direction in life. She’s a bit erratic and all over the place. Then just as the gusset is finished, she realizes that Jack is her future, and she is on a straight path with him until the end. She lives the rest of her life with Jack in her heart.

This simple sock includes yarn-overs and slipped stitches to create a fantastic textured pattern, allowing you to join Rose on her journey to love. Using yarn with a little stretch is always going to be best for this sock. A very firm yarn will make for a tighter fitting sock, and you may have to size up.

The sizes are as follows:

1 - approximately 7” foot circumference
2 - approximately 8” foot circumference
3 - approximately 9” foot circumference

Using any fingering weight yarn, this sock can fit regular calves or wider calves.

Happy knitting!
