This sock was created as the fourth and final installment of my Titanic Sock Bundle. There are 4 socks total in the batch. This yarn, made by Rebel Wool Works, is part of her Titanic collection. The color I used is called “Ship of Dreams”.

The sock tells the story of the ship itself. The front and back of the leg, as well as the top of the foot displays a Celtic-type knot, representing Belfast, Northern Ireland, where Titanic was originally built. The sides of the legs have ribbing which mimics the iconic smokestacks on board the ship. Lastly, the way the gusset is formed, paired with the ribbing on the bottom of the foot, represents the sinking of the unsinkable ship. You’re bound to enjoy this knit while you sink into your couch or favorite knitting chair!

This sock includes ribbing, cables, and a heel flap design with a larger gusset to create a flexible, comfy sock that you’ll want to make over and over.

NOTE: While this sock is one size fits most, those with narrow heels may experience some extra room in the back.

The sizes, which are only truly used for the toe-shaping are as follows:

1 - approximately 7” foot circumference
2 - approximately 8” foot circumference
3 - approximately 9” foot circumference

Using any fingering weight or sock yarn, this sock can fit regular calves or wider calves.

Happy knitting!
