Notes:
The sweater is worked from the bottom up, in the round.
Firstly, the body is knitted, up to the point where the raglan shaping starts. The diamond
lace is included on the front only, as per the chart which can be found at the end of the
pattern instructions. Then the sleeves are knitted separately, also up to where the raglan
shaping starts. The middle part of the diamond lace pattern is included on the sleeves.
Body and sleeves are then joined together, after which raglan shaping and yoke decreases
are worked in the round. Diamond lace pattern continues until the chart is completed.
Then stitches are cast off for the front neckline, after which the yoke will be finished flat,
finishing any decreases and pattern for the sleeves as required and shaping the neckline
edges.

Lastly, the neck edge rib is knitted by picking up stitches, then folded and sewn on the
inside.

Measuring: It is very important to measure which length arm and body should have for the
person wearing this sweater. As the sweater is knitted bottom up, changes can only be
made at the start of body and/or sleeve.
