THE DIMENSION SCARF …

… is a contemporary scarf that brings warmth and artistry together in one piece. It is worked with a modern interpretation of inlay colorwork, letting one yarn glide across the fabric as a floating thread, while the other anchors it with structure. The play of yarn qualities – one matte and grounding, the other with a subtle sheen – creates a striking contrast, giving the surface both depth and dimension.

Bold and thin lines seem to stretch evenly across the length of the scarf.As you move away from the piece, these lines dissolve into sculptural, three-dimensional shapes that rise, sink, and at times overgrow the outline of the scarf. Worked with a modified double knitted edge, these protruding effects break the symmetry of the silhouette as though the pattern itself could not be contained by the edges of the fabric.
… due to its unique technique both sides of the scarf appear as right sides - the result is a wearable canvas where color, line, and texture combine to create depth and movement. DER DIMENSION SCARF …

… ist ein zeitgenössischer Schal, der Wärme und die Liebe zur Geometrie in einem Stück vereint. Er wird mit der Inlay-Technik gearbeitet: Ein Faden spannt sich über die Oberfläche, während der andere das Gerüst bildet und dem Gewebe Halt gibt. Das Zusammenspiel der beiden Garnqualitäten – die eine matt, die andere mit einem dezenten Glanz – erzeugt einen feinen Kontrast, der der Oberfläche Tiefe und Dimension verleiht.
Kräftige und feine Linien ziehen sich über die Länge des Schals. Aus der Ferne betrachtet, bilden diese Linien plastische, dreidimensionale Formen. Die modifizierte Doppelstrick-Kante wird stellenweise von diesen Formen durchbrochen, wodurch deren dreidimensionaler Effekt noch betont wird – als könne das Muster selbst nicht von den Rändern des Gestricks begrenzt werden.
