The Dione Scarf combines soft cables with delicate lace, creating a fabric that feels both textured and airy. It’s a piece made for the in-between seasons – when mornings are still cool, but the days slowly begin to warm and the light lingers a little longer.
The scarf begins at its widest point and is gradually shaped towards the tip by binding off stitches at the beginning of the rows on both sides. The cable-lace pattern continues throughout and begins to feel intuitive after just a few rows, allowing the knitting to flow effortlessly without ever becoming repetitive. In the end, the diagonal edges are finished with crocheted chain stitches.
