The Rosemary Vest Mini is a delicate top-down design that combines the lightness of subtle lace pattern with the graceful finish of i-cord edges. It begins with the back, worked in rows. The shoulders are then formed one by one, their curves shaped by increases along the neckline, before flowing together into the front, which continues in harmony with the back. A soft neckline edging follows, and at the very end, slender i-cord ties are added to both back and front. Tied into little bows, they close the Rosemary Vest Mini with a touch of playfulness.
Thanks to its construction, the fit is best determined by the child’s shoulder width, while the length can be easily adjusted as you knit – making each vest as individual as the little one who wears it.
A chart for the lace section can be found at the end of the pattern.
