This is a small blanket that could easily be expanded to something larger. It uses 2 different cables to add variety to the stripes.

The sample was worked as one piece but the strips could be worked separately and joined together. The length of the blanket was determined by the size of the skeins - one stripe per ball. The white cable strand is worked in Intarsia and required about a half a ball of yarn. If worked in a single color, you will need 6 balls of yarn for the 30” (76cm) size.

If worked as a single piece you will need a needle capable of handling the width.

Optional: 2 stitch markers and a cable needle.

The pattern includes charts for both cables and the border pattern.
