Inspired by my Amalfi Scarf pattern, the Double Slotted Neck Scarf is a shorter version that tucks snugly into a jacket or shows itself off on top of a pullover. This elegant accessory features diagonal rows of knit and right twist stitches that are set off by 1 x 1 ribbing at each end. But unlike the full length Amalfi scarf, this neck hugger has two small slots inserted toward one end. The opposing end of the scarf is woven through the slots, creating a unique and attractive way to keep a shorter scarf in place. The scarf is shown in luxurious DK-weight Mode at Rowan Alpaca Wool in a soft peach colorway called Quartz. Textured stitches give a lofty sophisticated quality to the scarf, yet the 4-row pattern is easy to memorize and a pleasure to knit.
