#stashbuster

I love an elegant neckpiece. Years ago, I bought a cowl in Florence. Every time I pulled it over my head, I felt fabulous and glamourous–like I was carrying a bit of “moda d’Italia” wherever I went. Sadly, like many of the most beloved things in our life, the cowl became threadbare and, well, not so elegant. Thus, I resolved to create a second (“duo”) cowl using my own design. The Duo’s drape is fitted and classic. It starts with a generous ruffle, segues into a fun-to-knit slip stitch pattern and concludes with a lovely corrugated ribbing. Additionally, the Duo is a wonderful stashbuster: it uses only a total of 94–126g of 3 different colors, so feel free to play around and make the Duo your own!
