Architect/graphic designer turned entrepreneur/owner of children’s fashion company. Longtime New Yorker turned Charlestonian. Mother of two humans, one canine and one bunny. Interwoven through all of these life transitions and experiences has been my love of knitting.

I first learned to knit in a high school class and remember struggling mightily to make an Icelandic style sweater before the days of YouTube and online tutorials and classes. But I did it and my Dad wore that sweater for the next 20 years. So began my knitting obsession. When my kids were little, I knit a ton of stuff for them, friends, family, and, of course, myself. I then got side-tracked for a while launching and running my children’s fashion brand, Beatrix New York. But when my own daughter took a school knitting class and needed help, my passion was reignited. And after the experience of going through the design process countless times for new Beatrix products, I realized I was ready to create my own knitting patterns. I love, love color.
