Most fingerless gloves are either worked in the round with a gusseted thumb cover, or worked flat with a thumb hole along the seam. In these Easy Cabled Mitts, you switch between working flat and in the round, so that the thumb hole forms between the first and last stitches of each flat row. It’s super simple and knits up fast. The recommended size should fit most women. Be aware that as cabling pulls the mitts tighter all over, they will not seem true to size until your knitting progress has almost reached the start of the thumbhole.
Both mitts together take about half a ball of the recommended yarn (Loops & Threads Charisma; I used the Ginger color). You will also need:
-US 6 (4.0mm) circular needles
-Cable needle (optional)

Update: Sorry, you will actually need a size 6 needle! I have corrected this mistake everywhere it appears.
