This is a great beginner knit with popcorn detailing and seed stitch cuffs. It is knitted flat in 2 pieces and then seamed along sides, sleeves, and shoulders. It’s written for a beginner knitter, with step by step instructions and video guide links! Don’t be intimidated by the popcorns or sweater construction- you can do it!

Materials:

Yarn: Madeline Tosh Vintage (200 yards/ 180 meters per skein) or other medium worsted yarn. 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4) skeins.
Needles: Size 5 circular. You may be able to use straight needles for the smaller sizes if your needles are long enough. Working back and forth on circulars will be much easier, though.
Notions: Needle for weaving in ends.
Sizing Note: This is a fitted top, so please size up for a looser fit. The sleeves are ¾ sleeves as written, but you may make them longer by adding a multiple of 8 stitches to each sleeve’s cast on.
