• DESCRIPTION: This washcloth is super easy. It’s similar to the linen stitch but instead of working your single crochets into chain spaces you work them into the single crochets of the previous row. Enjoy!

• GAUGE & SIZING: Gauge (tension) isn’t very important in this project. For reference, my gauge is 9 SC and 17 rows per 4”.
Play around with hook sizes until you find one that makes a fabric you like. This pattern is written to produce a washcloth that is roughly 8.5” square.

• ABBREVIATIONS & STITCHES USED:
ch = chain
sk = skip
st = stitch
SC = single crochet
* * = Repeat what is in asterisks the indicated number of times

• MATERIALS:
About 70 yards of Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran in Pale Lilac or any #4 cotton or cotton blend.
A 4.0 mm (F) hook
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Stitch markers if desired.
