Elise Tee
Knitting pattern in English and German for an elegant and versatile tee in 10 sizes.
| Construction:
Elise is worked seamlessly from the top down, beginning with the back panel. The shoulders are shaped using German Short Rows with double stitches for a refined fit.
Stitches are then picked up along the shoulder seams, and the front panels are worked separately to create a deep V-neckline framed by a dropped-stitch pattern.
At the underarms, all pieces are joined and the body is worked in the round.
Optional horizontal bust darts can be included (instructions available in the pattern), and two different shaping options are provided to choose from.
The transition from the upper section to the flared lower body is shaped gradually. The body is finished with a round of wrapped dropped stitches and an I-cord bind-off.
Finally, stitches are picked up around the armholes to work the sleeves in the round without additional shaping. The sleeves are also finished with a round of wrapped dropped stitches and an I-cord bind-off.
The pattern includes written instructions, optional increase charts, a video tutorial, and photo tutorials.
