Elliot Scarf
The Elliot Scarf is exclusive to Knitworthy 10. Individual patterns will be released mid-December 2026. Find out more about Knitworthy 10 on Ysolda.com.
The Elliot Scarf is my take on the triangle scarf that’s everywhere this season.
Chic, versatile, and simple: with the Elliot Scarf you can feel confident that you’re knitting a gift they’ll wear everyday. Choose a bright shade for a pop of colour or a neutral that will go with everything, either way it’s the perfect accessory to make even the simplest outfit look put together and intentional. The pattern includes done-for-you numbers for two sizes and multiple yarn weights, and can be easily customised to make the most of the yarn you have with instructions for adding stripes included too.
The Elliot Scarf, just like the most popular ready-to-wear versions, is worked flat in stockinette from tip to tip with clean, minimalist details. The double chain and garter stitch selvedge works hard to minimise rolling, while you enjoy learning a satisfying new technique alongside plenty of soothing knitting. The best part? The tip to tip construction means your project picks up speed towards the end, you’ll be done before you know it!
Yarn
Fingering to aran weight yarn.
Thicker yarn weights will work better for the scarf if they have an airy, lofty construction. Consider chained, blown or fluffy yarns rather than densely plied ones.
