Emblem Socks are a textured ankle sock with lace medallions on the fronts and sides. The sock is knit in the round from the top down. The instructions for Emblem Socks are both written and charted.

Sizes: 1 (2, 3)
To fit approximate foot circumference of 7 (8, 9) in / 17.5 (20, 22.5) cm
Sample knit in size 2 to fit a women’s Size 9 shoe.

Needles:
1 pair US Size 0 (2.0 mm) 40 in / 100 cm circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge

Gauge:
33 stitches and 52 rounds over 4in / 10 cm in stockinette stitch, knit in the round.
Block your swatch before measuring gauge

Yarn:
Fingering-weight yarn.
Main color: 221 (240, 260) yards/ 202 (216, 238) meters of a fingering-weight or sock yarn.
Contrast color (for heels and toes): 69 (75, 81) yards/ 63 (67, 74) meters of a fingering-weight or sock yarn.

Sample was made using:
Round Mountain Fibers Alder 80% Superwash Merino wool 20% Nylon 3.5 oz. /100g, 380 yards / 347.5 meters.
MC – Nichol’s Turkshead Cactus (1 skeins )
CC1 – Dark green (1 50g skein)

Knitting in the round, reading charts, lace knitting, short rows, magic loop.

This pattern has been tech edited and test knit. The instructions are written for the magic loop method, but the pattern is easily adapted for dpns or small circular needles.
