My mother was a great fan of Etienne Aigner, Jil Sander and Max Mara. She loved the understated style, elegance, and the way these iconic brands told their story in a whisper rather than a shout. I remember sitting as a little girl in front of rows of Aigner handbags in the Katajanokka store in Helsinki, watching as my grandmother and mother tried on one stunning creation after another. The elegance of these classic brands endures, even as time and trends change.

This Etienne sweater represents that same timeless luxury and elegance. The stylish turtleneck sits beautifully at the neckline, and the elegant raglan increases create a flattering fit. Worked from the top down, the sweater is made with wonderful yak wool—what I like to call the working person’s cashmere—a beautiful yarn that brings the sweater to life. Etienne is an ode to immortal classics, the ones that stay with us forever!
