Designed to fit A Girl for All TIme® dolls, this versatile cardigan
comes with two sleeve variations. It is knit all in one piece, from the top down. There are NO side seams; in fact, the only seams needed are on the underarm of the raglan sleeves. It has a special “fast and easy” eyelet cable that does NOT require a cable needle. The sweater closes in front with buttons and has a garter stitch band at the hem. It can be made with or without the collar, which is worked in a seed stitch. The cable makes a wonderful detail all on it’s own or you can embellish it with embroidery and bead-work for a three dimensional effect.

Materials and Supplies:
The cardigan can be knitted with either a #3 or #4 weight yarn. Either will
work as long as your gauge is 5-1/2 stitches/ inch. See yarn and needle suggestions
in the pattern.
• Light worsted or sport weight yarn, (approximately 100 yards)
• 3 colors embroidery floss (optional)
• Size 4 or 6 US circular knitting needles or size to give a gauge of 5-1/2 (24” long)
stitches=1”
• Large tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• Three or four 1/2” buttons
• 4 Stitch holders
• 4 Stitch markers
• 1 Row counter
• GAUGE: 5-1/2 stitches=1”
