This sweet and feminine sweater is designed to fit the American Girl® and other 18” dolls. It incorporates several special techniques that include a two color cast-on, scalloped hem, twisted braid detail and an embroidered bullion rose embellishment. There are two flower garland variations to choose from. The sweater opens down the front with three buttonholes for closure. It has two collar variations with a scalloped edge or knitted braid trim and the sleeves incorporate the braid detail at the hem. The body of the sweater is knitted as one piece (no side seams!) and the sleeves are set
into the armhole. The pattern contains both written instructions and easy-to-follow charts. Also available (separately) is a step-by-step video to show you how to master all these fun techniques.

Materials and Supplies:
• The sweater can be knitted in Caron Simply Soft® or other similar yarn.
You may also use any other yarn that gives the same gauge.
• 1 Master Color - about 1/3 skein (approximately 100 yards)
• 3 Contrasting colors for flower and braid detail (small amounts)
• Size 4 knitting needles or size to give a gauge of 5 stitches=1”
• Size C or D crochet hook (optional for collar edge on View B)
• Large tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• Three 1/2” buttons
• 2 Stitch holders
• 2 Stitch markers
• 1 Row counter
• 4-6 large safety pins
